We visited Deira City Center and watched movies like Batman Begins, Mr & Mrs Smith and Monster-in-law. Wild
Wadi, the water park, was a blast. You can literally surf on man-made waves. We also tried this amazing inner-tube slides.
The water pressure was so strong, that it can literally push a person up a slide. After reaching it's peak, you would then speed
down on water slides, going through various turns until you reach the bottom.
We tried looking for a good Filipino band and visited almost all recommended places by pinoy expats we met. After trying
out a couple of places, we always go back to Jules Bar (Le Merriedien Airport). They have great service, great music and great
people.
Dubai is a great place to visit. It's very cosmopolitan and the high-rises reminded us of Hong-Kong and Singapore. You
are bound to come across Europeans from all over the world. Great shopping, great sites and great night-life. A must visit
place.
